Thursday

Today for Math we had a quiz on 5.6. For Language we continued with Literacy Power and Sci-Fi. For History the 7-3 class completed chapter 1.

Tuesday

Yet another shorter week due to snow. Today for Math we worked on 5.6, pages 225 to 226, questions 1 and 3. For Language we worked on Literacy Power and started a new writing assignment "Science Fiction". For History the 7-1 class completed chapter 1.

Friday

Today we had the Science Fair for the morning. After that we worked on the Poetry Projects for the FINAL DAY!!!!!! There was no Rotary today because of the Science Fair.

Thursday

Today for Math we had a quiz on 5.5. For Language we continued with Literacy Power and the Poetry Project. For History the 7-1 class started chapter 1.

Wednesday

Today for Math we worked on 5.5, pages 216 to 220, questions 6. After that we had the read a loud, Literacy power, and continued with the Poetry project. Again, most students need to bring in pictures for their project. For History the 7-3 class started chapter 1.

Another Short Week!

Today for Math we reviewed 5.4 and then had a quiz on it. For Language we worked on Literacy Power and our Poetry Projects. Most students need to bring in pictures for their project. For Social Studies, the grad 6 class started chapter 1.

Welcome Back!

Today for Math we worked on 5.4, pages 213, question 1. For Language we continued with our poetry Project. In he Afternoon the class went on the trip that was booked for yesterday. In history the 7-3 class had their introduction to History.

Tuesday

Today for Math we worked on 5.3 pages 203 to 204, questions 1,2,3 and 4. For Language we continued with our Poetry unit and Literacy Power. For Social Studies the grade 6's had their introduction to the class.

Monday

Today for Math we reviewed 5.1 and had a quiz. We also worked on 5.2 and had a quiz on that too!. For Language we started our Poetry Unit and continued with Literacy power. There was no rotary again today. Term two for Rotary begins tomorrow.

Friday

Today for Math we worked on 5.1 from the test book, pages 187 to 191 all questions. After that they had time to work on their J.C. Hill News Articles. At the end of the day we participated in the Elephant Thought Educational Outreach program. There was no rotary today. Rotary for Term two will begin on Tuesday February 5th, 2019.
